Golf Croquet is fun and can act as a great team-building exercise for groups of friends or work colleagues. It’s also brilliant as a networking opportunity for businesses! No prior knowledge of the game is needed. We have full sized lawns in a beautiful rural setting and we give you full tuition at the start of your event.
One firm of accountants visited the club, inviting a firm of lawyers to play. They reported “A real buzz in the office next day from all the fun that had been had and great new business networks that had been established.”
Golf croquet is a global sport that’s quick to pick up but takes years to master. The sport is also very sociable. Participants become fully involved very quickly and events often become extremely competitive. It’s a great leveller, since all the members of groups are mixed up and fully participate in the competition.
Come as a group and we can set you up, quickly getting you playing with assistance and guidance from our club members.
We can cater for groups of 12-24 players during the season (normally May – August), either in the afternoon or evening. Just turn up with flat-soled shoes!
Events are hosted by the club’s corporate event coordinator and top player, Stuart Smith.
Visitors will be given some background information about the club and the game of croquet before receiving some basic tuition in the rules of golf croquet and playing technique.
Group events usually involve a fun competition (with prizes!) directed by club members, who will be on hand to give instruction if required.
Visiting groups normally supply their own food and drink for their group and club helpers.
