Our facilities

Club members enjoying a beautiful Tuesday afternoon.
A late spring club afternoon, with doubtless some banter about the chances of running the hoop.
This aerial view of our club grounds was taken no later than 2017 when we shared the grounds with a local cricket team.  The cricket square is clearly visible with a wicket ready for play.  We then had 4 full size lawns and a half size one.  The cricket team ceased playing in 2018 and we used the cricket square to extend the half size lawn.  This photo does appear to show a weekend ready for a cricket match as there is no sign of any croquet hoops.
John Evans cutting the outfield and wishing for a turbo charger
Howard, John and Jeff getting the lawns ready for a home match
Howard really getting down to make sure the lines are straight
Cutting the trench for the rabbit proof fencing. Definitely not a job for club members!
Posts installed ready for the mesh to be installed. It is bent out into the trench and stops the rabbits burrowing under.
One stretch completed.  Now let's see if the little blighters can get in!

Our club ground has 5 full sized lawns and an excellent well equipped club pavilion, which was built by members in the early years after the club was formed. We have a good range of mallets for potential and new members to use before they make the leap into buying their own. As you would expect, we have all the equipment, such as hoops and balls, needed for playing croquet.

In 2018 we had rabbit proof fencing installed around the ground to combat the inevitable scourge presented by being in a rural location. This has proved to very effective.

Above all else we have the great advantage of being situated in beautiful Worcestershire countryside. There are few nicer places to play croquet or to simply sit and watch.
