Ian’s shot was astounding. It hit the wire which squeezed the ball backwards and at such an angle she could only jaws it again.”
“Then the opposition had to deal with Billy’s ball which was now behind the hoop. Spain then whacked Billy’s ball and it went back through the hoop clearing his partners ball. It was left for billy to run the hoop.”

The team wound down last night by attending a magnificent barbecue thrown by their hosts. Jon represented the UK in the macarena. He said “Germany pulled out, but I’m afraid I was beaten by sheer numbers from Spain. I had no support from my team!” It was with some disappointment that I note that Jon didn’t send a photograph.
Broadwas face a tough day, meeting the Spanish club in their final match.
As always, we wish the team the best of luck.
