The Club’s annual pig roast was held on Friday 28th July and was blessed with glorious sunshine. We all enjoyed a splendid roast, followed by delicious deserts. We also celebrated the 100th birthday of our oldest member, Will Drake. Stuart Smith, our past club chairman, presented Will with his own bench which will take pride of place outside the club pavilion. After the presentation we took advantage of the ideal playing conditions and club captain John Guy introduced members to John Guy’s one ball thing.
